Clermont Northeastern Home Sales
The CNE Home Sales for 2017 was impressively steady. It was not subject the big jumps some districts were, helping to protect it from big drops.
The sale price to list price ratio remained consistant and ended the year at an impressive 97.92%. When homes sell for within about 2% of asking price, sellers have to be happy!
The average days on market remained fairly close to where it ended at 29 average days. There were a couple months toward the beginning of the year where the time to sell was longer, but it quickly returned.
The one area of strong gain is the average sale price. The beginning of the year started at $155,166 and ended at $179,083. That represents about a 15% percent increase. While good for short terms, that rate of increase is not healthy over the longer term. We will have to keep a close eye on prices as we get into 2018.
