New Richmond Home Sales for the month of September continues at a good pace.  Overall, there is a rather steady trend which shows good stability.  When buyers are looking at homes, to see a steady market helps give confidence that purchasing involves less risk.

The absorption rate continues to show a balanced market.  The absorption rate measures the number of sales per month versus the existing inventory.   Too strong of a buyer’s market and prices fall while too strong of a sellers market causes unhealthy spikes in prices.

Both the total number of sales and the average sale price are up since last month’s report.  At $258,541, the average sale price is at its highest of the calendar year.  Combined with 107 total sales for the last six months, shows a healthy market.
