As with last month’s report, this month’s Milford Home Sales is yet another award winner! There are several consistent indicators as well as some new records for the year.
A great confidence builder for home sales in the school district is the continued sale to listing price ratio. It has been steady all calendar year just below or above 98%. In other words, sellers see $98 for every $100 they ask. That consistency is a great confidence booster for buyers that they aren’t likely to loose money when buyer a home in the Milford school district.
Another great indicator that home sales in the school district have enjoyed throughout 2017 is the days on market. At 22 for this month’s report, it has never been higher than 29 since January. Other school districts have seen greater swings. This is another indicator of a very solid and consistent market.
The last indicator of good stability is the average sale price of $245,238. That is slightly higher than last month’s. Overall, the trend on the average sale price has continued upward.
