Clermont School District Home Sales June 2018Clermont School District Home Sales June 2018.  Have you ever had a feeling something was about to happen?  This month’s numbers leave me with that impression.  It isn’t something that is negative, but in many ways positive.

This is a trend that isn’t totally new, but indications are that the inventory is once again reducing while the number of sales are actually increasing.  Of the 9 school districts tracked, 5 have seen a drop in active listings while only 1 has had an increase.  However, when it comes to the number of sales, 7 of the districts saw an increase while only 1 saw a decrease.  If this trend continues, it will likely mean more competition for listings. What does that mean?

The likely results will be shorter time on market, which was true for 5 school districts.  It could also mean an increase in sale prices which 6 of the school districts saw last month.  All school districts showed indications of being a stronger seller’s market than previous months.
