Batavia School District | Batavia Home Sales Update
Batavia Home Sales Update has the strongest numbers of the year to report for two key categories. For 2017, June showed the highest average sale price. It is up $9000 from May and approximately $20,000 for the months prior to that! That is a great trend for home sellers and home buyers are taking advantage of the interest rates making both winners.
Another record setter is the highest sale price to listing price ratio. It climbed to 97.58%. That is 2% higher than earlier months in the year.
Home sales in the school district also lead other school districts in Clermont in it’s absorption rate of 3.4. That means that based on the average rate of sales for the last 6 months, if no new listings were added to the current inventory, there would only take 3.4 months to sell every listing. That is a indication of a mild seller’s market.
Of interest, the one category where Batavia homes sale are being the other school districts is the days on market. It is showing that homes that sold in June, they were on the market for 67 days. Uh…. based on the market from even a year ago, that is great!
