West Clermont Wolves | The Pack Unites

The big unveiling, open tours, dedication of the new football field and inaugural game all happen August 25, 2017!  It is a huge day for the West Clermont School district with the West Clermont High School Grand Opening.  This has been paradigm changer since the beginning deal with Union Township.  Uniting the two area high schools, Amelia and Glen Este High Schools, this larger campus offers far more than the school district as ever had before.  Included on campus is a Mercy Healthplex which will include many fitness opportunities for the school and community.

While the Glen Este campus will be turned over to the township for development, the Amelia campus will become the new West Clermont Middle School.  Currently there is some renovation work occurring at the campus while school is in session. Work will continue on the site to convert it from a high school and middle school complex to a large middle school for the entire district.  The middle school will also be known as the West Clermont Wolves.

Special events are also occurring at each of the campuses to mark the end of eras for both Glen Este and Amelia.  The one time rivals will celebrate their traditions and memories that will continue to live on as they merge to a greater identity and future.  One family with whom I am friends recently posted a photo showing the generations that have played basketball at Amelia.  It is a bitter sweet experience for many.
